Temping

This guide is targeted specifically at younger people who are wasting away at their pointless day jobs. If you don't know what you want to do with your life, or if you know what you want to do but it's something non-traditional (like anything in the arts), you are in the right place.

This guide will show you how to quit that pointless day job and get your life back. Want more free time to work on what you're passionate about? Want to see a lot of different industries to get an idea of what you might like to do for a career? Just want to buy some time until you figure out what direction your life is headed in? It's much easier than you think.

I really don't like working. I'm lazy, I love to sleep in and stay home, and I have no dream career that takes place in an office. And yet I, like just about every other human being, have bills to pay. So I work as an office temp. I take only short-term assignments -- one to three weeks in length -- and for every three weeks I spend working, I take about a week off. I live alone and I make all the money I need this way. I LOVE it. With this guide, I hope to improve temping's terrible reputation and help other people get into it.

I'm pretty sure it works more or less the same way in Canada, and it probably does in other post-industrial nations as well... but I can't be sure.
